We (norcal ls1) are calling all ponys out to the Sacremento raceway's Gruge Fest on aug 18. This not a slapp or a taunt but merly an invetation to bring your ponys to the track and hange with some guys who also have the same intersts as you. Actually, I say this guy on bradshaw last friday night, after we both left the track, and he yelled out the window for me to pull over, So I did, when he came up, he was totally cool about it, no trash talking...Just invited me out.. Ive ran into the nor-cal ls1/lt1 guys quite a bit and they always been cool... But Ill still be excited to see you smoke him Stocker!!!

Brandon (12sec01WS6)and his mother in law (Denise) are the nicest people out at the track. That car is an absolute FREAK!!! The damn thing has run 12.9's with a best of 2.06 60' at 110 and numerous 13.1's with 2.2's at 110. Even in the heat that car traps 108. On a day like stocker ran, it'd trap 110-111. And that car is a true stocker. As soon as it leaves the gates at the track, you better believe it'll run the same ET's on Bradshaw on the way home. I got to give you props (stocker) for your et's for the mods you have, but damn that thing aint even close to stock. It's like a ricer mobile with a 5.0 in it. I'm an easy goin guy but something about you rubs me the wrong way and that ain't easy to do.

To clarify what I meant, was that most ricers completely gut their cars and that's what you've done. The car barely resembles a mustang. To each their own I guess, and I don't have a problem with that. It's just this 'stocker' perception and attitude that I have a problem with. Mabye I should make a rail car with a 5.0 in it and call it a 'stocker'.

I don't need to defend my car. I know my times are accurate no matter where I race. I like to drive to the track and run, and then drive home. Not setup camp and take 2 hours of prep to finally make a pass and then 2 hours of cleanup. If I want more ET then I'll bolt on better tires and leave with the juice on. It's no biggie to me. Peace.

Stocker -

Your car isn't anywhere near stock. Having a stock motor doesn't classify "stock".

In that case, my car is stock. Know why? cuz my motor is untouched.

I am now, "stocker cobra".

Put those 25 thousand dollar cars away and come with something different.

Stocker put work into his car regardless of what the fuck is done to it.

An air lid and some exhaust and you run low low 13s what kind of work is that to put into a car?

That is like screamin about getting your dodge viper you just bought into the 12s BFD.

I would like to know how many of you are under 25, dont live with your parents and actually own your car. Then I will be impressed.

Of course 13 and 12 second timeslips arent that much to holler about.

I am working on getting the rollbar SOON !!!
As of right now, I am having some other problems with the car I need to deal with.
I put an MSD 6AL in this weekend and on my drive back from Redding tonight, I lost at LEAST one cylinder if not two. I am thinking that I burned the electrode off on a couple of the spark plugs. We'll see, I will check it out at work tomorrow

Well, the rollbar won't be installed in time for the 18th
Chances are the rollbar won't even be here until after the 21st
Why is it that everytime I order ANYTHING for my car, it is either backordered or just plain late?

DanStarkey: I'm 21, own my car outright but still live with the parents, got laid off right as I was going to search for a place so that put an end to that adventure. BTW What's wrong with a $30k car? You fuggin pay more than that for a nice pickup truck man! Now $100k for a viper or M5, that's a waste and a half.

Who is taking offense? I invited the nor-cal LS1 guys to our GTG on saturday. About 7 or so guys showed up. We had a great time. Where were you?
A lot of guys w/ the faster cars are down at the moment. Mine's in the body shop, one guy is oputting a fuel system, a few are waiting on motors. No excuses. A lot of us are going to SAC on sep.22nd. I think a few from Nor-Cal LS.1 guys are going also.

bro run the thing without the maft the 01's are different than the 00's we have 28.3# injectors so the car is running rich to begin with. i was running pretty stock with a/f 11.9 perfect for a dry kit. so you should not even need the fricken thing. justg disconnect it and make a few hits and you will see the difference.
