What if it was a white un armed teen age girl that Zimmerman had shot. Would she be a punk as well? Would Zimmerman have been arrested immediately for shooting her?

Yes, a verdict was handed down and we have to move on. However, young back kids in Florida still have to deal with a police department that dragged their feet and waited weeks before aressting Zimmerman.

I wasnt there when this went down just like anyone else on this site. But based on FACTS I would have done the same thing regardless of race. There had been previous crime in this area so the residents were on edge. If I had been in this situation and confronted someone acting suspicious and I get attacked then fuck yeah im gonna defend myself, with deadly force if neccessary. Trayvon had what was coming to him. If this had been a white guy who was shot & a woman testifying on the stand said he was being followed by some, " N!@*$@ " then a lot of people defending Trayvon would say the guy deserved to get shot.

Obama want to stir shit up & say we need to have a talk about racism. I seem to remember our president siding with his black friend when he was arrested by the cops...... Before he was even told what really happened.

I'm all for a debate & a real change in the way people act when it comes to color....... But a lot of black people need to look in the mirror and realize until they can quit blaming white people for their struggles...... Things aren't gonna change.

I'm so afraid to have friends of any other origin now because if I offer a black guy a banana I'm afraid it will be used against me.

I've seen this kind of shit happen, no joke.

I'm afraid to say anything to anyone of a different race at this point, I don't want to risk being accused of racism especially since I run my own show. I'm always on guard and walk on egg shells unless I know the person really really well and that has failed.

This country is just so out of hand about race its just insane!!

The problem is people know they use it to win a lawsuit and be lazy and not work. It's cheaper to settle out of court than to go through the legal system about discrimination and get paid off.

He wasn't harassed. He was never confronted by Zimmerman. He spotted Zimmerman spotting him. He knew Zimmerman called the police. And we ALL know people like trayvon don't like the police being called. So HE confronted Zimmerman. Committed a hate crime, and ended up dead.

My main point was to show how at some point African Americans need to LET GO of their resentment towards whites. I'm tired of being reminded all the time about slavery in the United States.
