This board is filled with 5.0s and 4.6s. Does anyone here have a turbo'd 4cyl mustang? I was outside playing around with my little beater car and i was thinking about turbo'ing it. I looked up some videos of turbo'd 4 cyl mustangs and wow. Im impressed. Some of them move real well and would give alot of 5.0s a run for their money. I'm really considering it now. What do you think?? if theres any turbo'd 4 cyl cars here. LMK. I have some questions for you.

The aftermarket for the hairdryer four is much smaller, therefore, parts are more expensive and there will be fewer proven combos and even less availability of CARB apporved parts. I had a hell of a time keeping headgaskets together, even in stock form, although I am told that gasket technology has advanced from the 2000-2002, when I was getting good at changing head gaskets on my SVO. I know a guy who did some very minor work on a hairdyer-four, and he was hanging with a bolt-on Terminator on a freeway pull, until the bottom end blew up. Terminator 1, Hairdryer 0.

Have fun, more power to you for building a Four. Good luck. There are plenty of SVO nerds on the boards who can point you in the right direction.
