Ok, so i found this 65 F/B 2+2 over by my work in some driveway about 5 months ago.. It hasnt moved an inch, its covered in dust, its got a flat, and a little body damage (not much).... Hasnt been registered in 2 years... If the guy still wanted it,he'd take care of it... Well, i left my number on the windsheild... How much do you think i should offer him for it?? Remember, at leats 2 years of back registration fees if he didnt non-op it... Let me know..

He'd be crazy to sell it for anything less than 10K....shells are selling for that much.

There's a guy here in Indiana that has a '77 Vette sitting in his driveway. Has NEVER moved in the 7 years that I've been wanting it.

The front and rear bumper covers are completely gone. Paint is faded bad. All the tires are flat. Interior is ripped up.

Couple years ago I went over there and offered him $2000 cash, showed it to him even, and he refused to sell it. It's still sitting there. I see if I can snap a pic of it. There's alot of people out there that have potentially nice cars but refuse to sell them. So they end up rotting away.

Makes me sad. [Frown]

And I'm sure the owner knows that and I'm sure he gets 50 notes a week left on the car asking to buy it. Some people will hold on to a car forever and never touch it but have the big plans of "fixing it up some day". Then they die and the wife sells it to the first person that offers $500......

There is an original owner, showroom stock, looks new,71 chevelle rolling around up by me. I could see that situation happening anyday with that car, people are hella old, dude drives his wife around in it on the weekends. I might have to pull a stalker mission to find out where he lives lol. I know its only a few blocks away at most.
