Mods are: Heads, cam, intake, roller rockers,tb, freeflowing exhaust and that famous horsepower bandaid at about 12psi.

s-trim
42's
1.6 pro mags
off road 2.5 exhaust with flows and whistle tip [Whoo Whooooo!]
Still has all accessories, smog equip and a/c and stock fan.
K&N oilfilter +20hp
For fuel supply only a 255 intank, if anything w goes bad tomorrow its that.

No port work really, just clean up of the intake. pretty much all the out the box shit you can buy. the nitrous is still in the box.

hey John just curious on why it would run out of fuel on the top end? I know nothing about engine building. Just curious.

42lb injectors + 255 pump + 12 psi = serious fuel starvation over 5k rpms. The pump can't keep up with the injectors, hense Vortech selling a T-rex in-line pump with anything over 8psi.

My original combo was very similar to this (I had RPM heads and a 5.0 intake though) all else was the same. Car pulled to about 5400...that was it. 441hp/417 tq.

Well I'd hate to make everyone mad but the car went up in flames again as the leaky valve cover gasket came back. I'm going to go ahead and put in an inline pump for saftey and maybe even up the injectors one mo'gain.

As told by the man, car was around 435rwhp at 5800rpms and still climbing, but the test was cut short do the the oil leaking on the header issue. damnit. [Frown]
