Just want to see what everyone uses or recommends, I've got an alarm and a few other things but always feel uncomfortable about taking the car anywhere.

The gun replies I see the attempt at comedy, but I'm talking about say a trip to the mall or anywhere where you have to leave the car, your garage doesn't travel with you.

alarm and clutch lock.

has anyone ever heard of or had a car with the clutch lock stolen. the people that make the auto lock also have a new club like device that mounts over the airbag and column that prevents cutting the steering wheel to remove it.

A Clifford Alarm w/ ignition kill and the Kryptonite Steering Wheel Lock. The brake pedal to steering wheel kind.

if your out places nothing you can really do to stop them from taking the car...tow truck gets anything...for me, I know it won't do much if they get in the car first, but I usually park backwards, e-brake and put in gear, so atleast the tires will be screetchin to catch attention if they decide to pull it on a tow bed..

Like I said before in an old thread, bolt it into your driveway. 1" think eye bolt sunk deep into your driveway, secured with quickrete, and chain your axle down.

9mm beretta. I also got out of having subs and amps in the car because face it, if they want it they will get it, and they will mess your car up getting to it.

I wonder how many people who mentioned pistols as their "alarm" would actually use it if they caught someone stealing their car. Seems kind of dumb to get a possible life sentence over a car.

That's why you have a few and put one into the robber's hand

I keep my car blocked in and keep my Pitts close by. And they are portable and can be taken with me to the store etc and left in the car.

This one is my male when he was 5 months old....he's about 10 months now and has damn near doubled in size! (And he's not very friendly) [patriot] [Big Grin]

no kill switch or auto lock here for me, but i do have the Pizzo siren and a back up battery under the dash....not even next to the colum and i can attest that its fricken deafening.

And for whoever wrote *who would actually use their pistol etc etc*.......if i caught someone breaking into my car they WILL be held accountable, *stop and down on the ground i am armed* if they even turn to run, id put one in the leg.....
