NASA, trackmasters, ncrc, shelby club, hooked on driving, checkered flag, etc. I've found ncrc to be the cheapest and trackmasters to be the most expensive. I used to run Sonoma 95% of the time, so you typically pay premium for track days over there.

There are walls at almost every track except T-hill. Definitely not scary...just have to drive smart and not think you're a bad ass out the gate [Wink]

Besides the ones already named, there's quite a few small clubs that are open to all makes of cars. Go to the track website and look at the track calendar. It will list what club, on what day, and whether it's car or motorcycles (or both). You then will need to check out that club website for prices, requirements, etc.

I could you a lot of reasons why you should run with other clubs.

For novice and low intermediate drivers, it's fine and about the same as any other club. I would not recommend them for advance and high intermediate - they're just too restrictive.

For high intermediate drivers I would recommend trackmasters. For advanced, NCRC.

Having said that, I plan on attending Shelby Club at Laguna the Friday after Thanksgiving. They've (maybe) added a 4th (Blue) group which hopefully is more in-line with NCRC advanced group.
