Topic: check engine light doesnt come on

hi everybody I had a question maybe someone has some knowledge on a problem i'm having with my 1989 mustang foxbody Gt I went to try and smog it today and the check engine light didn't come on for some reason I don't know if its the closter blub behind it that need's to be changed out or if its the computer the washer fluid light comes on and the fuel light but not the check engine so I'm confused, if someone can get back to me on this thank you for the help

id guess bulb is bad but thats prob due to it being on all the time! most all places wont test unless its operational... key on the light should be on then shuts down after start up

yeah with the key on the only lights come on are the washer fluid and fuel check engine light does not come on what so ever I'm gonna try and take off the closter and see if that's the problem if not then I don't know what's up

topic closed problem solved it had no bulb thanks for the advice on that was thinking it was gonna be more phew
