I'm looking to put a vortech supercharger on my 86 gt but it is a map car. The car is all stock except a cat back and larger tbody and egr plate. I'm looking at the basic set up since I just want a little more power. My question is anyone done this with a map car? Any problems I might run into?

I personnaly have not heard of a problem but, I have an 88 and was thinking of a vortec SC and I ran into a few sites saying that its worth changing to mas..not too costly...
actually when I called lmr to find out more info as to what I might need besides what comes in the vortec v3 kit the sales person asked what year "88' and asked to make sure that it was already mas.. so I would just call lmr forsure or maybe just vortec directly
