Topic: Convt vs coupe trunk spring ....????

Has anyone swapped the spring bars from a coupe trunk lid to a Convt for trunk clearance....?? Need to mount a few things and wanna eliminate the coil springs on the side...

I thought that area had to be clear to make room for the top.when retracted? I've made brackets and used sn-95 struts to hold the trunk lid up on the Mach Notch.

Thanks Rob, maybe I'll look into that option and make some brackets myself
