Any recommendations on what kind of stroker kit I should go with?? And what kind of H/C/I should I go with?? I have something in mind but would like others peoples opinions or if they know something that works. Not looking to go crazy, just need a bit more HP/TQ budget is about $4,000.
Thanks for your help.

Engine is coming out of a 1995 ford lightning.

What are your goals? Hp/tq, what are you going to use it for? Boost/na/nitrus ?

Cost between 393 and 408 kits are parcticly the same.
Cost goes up depending on block usedweather it be non roller, roller or aftermarket, then topend and supporting parts
For each roller seems to be the cheaper route.

Ive been researching a 408 for my 70, going for a 10.5 compression forged bottom end tw 11r 205 heads edelbrock air gap and custom cam.. havent decided either roller block or find a69/70 block. If getting a f4 block(lightning block) make sure have the lifter bores cecked for cracks thetes a write up on corral about it

4k wont get you there if your planning on piecing it together. Your going to spend $2500 on block, stroker kit, machining, balancing. Another $1500 to $2200 on some heads.. id go with trick flow 11r 205 or at least the 190 if you wana save $400.

The f4 block needs to have the cam journals checked for cracks. Not the lifter boars. They crack where the lifter spider bolt hole is.

I'm using the block from the 1995 lightning . $4000.00 is my budget for just stroker kit and heads. Not including machining and installs and etc.

I used a lot of the same parts when I built my 393w. That's an awesome deal!

I used similar parts as well when I built my 410. With the right cam that would be a fun 500hp street ride.
