Does anyone know a trick to remove the top bolt on the starter.i have a new starter to install but I can't get to that top bolt at all....

12 point socket for sure...I couldn't get enough room with extensions because as soon I turned the ratchet it would hit the fender apron so I just used a air compressed ratchet....
Try the 12 point with multiple extensions and ratchet if it doesn't work than ur gona have to do what I did.

I ended up giving up and taking the car to my mechanic. I got a high torque mini starter and it sounds pretty sweet when I turn her over. My other project was installing new motors for the power windows and I was successful on that.... Lol
