When ever i try to start my car in the morning it will crank and crank and pop and miss but will not turn over

Sounds like the timings off

And heres the weird part if i filck the key off and try again it will start instantly and run fine?

Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my 91 convertible.. Try swapping distributors.. Problem went away for me once I changed the distributor..
