The block number is RF-F2LE-6015.AC/HC & head numbers are RF-F2LE-6C064-CO. He says it's a 32 Valve DOHC Cobra Motor . It's missing intake and doesn't have the Usual aluminum or whatever Valve covers most cobras have. It's black valve covers. Idk how to post pics but I can email or text them to you. Need help please.!!! I want to do a Cobra swap on my Gt love the sound of the 4V with my Bassani x pipe. That bubble gurgle and power potential but don't want to get it and it ends up being a Mark engine and I'm shiet outtah luck.!

Black valve covers are a dead giveaway to being a Mark 8 engine when it's a B headed 96-98 engine...Check the crankshaft/flywheel bolts should be 8 NOT 6...99 Cobra engines DID NOT have black valce covers but those could be changed...Mach 1 engines from 03-04 had black valve covers aswell but Auto machs were also 6 bolt cranks... 92 production heads, or from a 93 Mark VIII. Both my Mach 1 donors had the bare cast aluminum valve covers. 1 Auto the other was a 5 speed. Both were from a 2004 Mach 1. Why not just buy a whole wrecked car from one of these insurance auctions. You get everything you need for the swap. And sell off the stuff you dont use. Should be able to pick a 99-01 Cobra or 03-04 Mach 1 for about $2,400-3,400. Just try to find one that Runs and Drives. If you buy one that not a running car then you might inherate some electical gremlins. And they can get expensive.

Thanks for the reply.! & Lol man I'm 19 a college student. I'm new to all this. I have the money to spend but never a place to spend it when I have it. For example I found some ok craigslist that were wrecked cobras for like 1800 and my dumb ass passed it up because I felt I should pay 1800 for a car that's wrecked pretty much. Haven't found any sense id pay it now lol. And with auctions and all that I'm not familiar how to buy cars that way or see what they have to sell I've been trying lately...

Like I got my car appearence ready I jst need a saleen spoiler and rear bumper either saleen or Roush. Wanted to do a coyote swap with an F-150 engine they run around 1800 I can do that but then the control pack another 1500 plus the lil miscellaneous stuff. Maybe something I'll do around early next year after I save up a bit. For now just want a solid motor to build on I hate the 2Vs. Love the sound of a cobra or Mach wih a Bassani x pipe and magnapacks tho 😍😍 nothing beats it

4vs sound better , look better in the Engine bay , and have a lot more potential plus I've been coming across kits where you can strap a 03/04 eaton onto a 99 Cobra or 03/04 Mach 1. Just seems a lot easier and cheaper to go 4v with better sound and top peak pontiental and less of a hassle to do

You could throw on a 96-98 cobra on that engine. But that's if you're putting it into a 96-98 GT.
You can do any swap you want, you just have to have the $$$

I don't know about you but I wouldn't have even thought about buying that motor after looking at it. I think there's a guy on here selling a full termi swap, you should check it out.
