Like the title says it's for my return line for my vortech , I'm wondering if i should just get a whole other pan and tap it before I install or do it while on the motor. And also how much would someone charge me to do it and weld a bunge ?

u can tap or weld, really i think its dumb to have a charger an stock pan anyways. stock pans are not for performance driving at all,no balles, no high volume pumps, no high revs, chargers heat the oil up, some guys are gona say oh ive ran them for years, its cause they drive like pussies, and dont really beat on there stuff!!!! lol jk

I've had a couple of pans with welded bungs. Usually cost $50-$60.

Weld in a pipe reducer and you are good to go. I have used stock pans for years and my engines are no slouches. One thing i never do is run a high volume or pressure pump. That is a disaster and every ford engine builder knows.
