I am at my boiling point with the worn door pins on my fox. I have tried everything to try and get them removed, but no luck.
I have tried the dremel, multi tool, and air die grinder with appropriate attachements on each of them and I'm still on the first pin.
I'm about to pull out my torch and torch the dang thing.
What do you guys recommend?
Charles

I just use a hammer and a small extension or screwdriver. they come out. Grinding is not going to help, you run the chance of jacking up the hinge too.

I can not. I have the factory door pins and they are worn.

I use a hammer and chisel. I knock the top head off the pin. then use a punch to tap the pin out. Takes about 30ish minutes a side.
Edit: Take the fenders off. Makes it much easier. [ 2014-07-25, 09:29 AM: Message edited by: warhorse58gt ]

I have also heard that some people have tried bolt cutters in the cent of the pin. However there is not much room to get in there!
I had bought a set of pins for my fox before it was stolen. Then decided it was a pain in the ass to do so i didn't do it

That won't hurt the bracket or anything from the force of the chisel and hammer will it?

No. There is a little busing there. The bushing failing is why the door sags. The new bushing will fit tight. So you will need to tape it in. I done at least 20 pins. Never had a issue with tearing up the bracket.
