What type of fluid for a t-45 transmission?
Is dex/mecr iii/v fine?

Dex or Mercon is fine but for a better quality fluid that makes for super smooth shifts that's perfect for hard driving conditions I recommend pennzoil or valvoline synchromesh..trust me this stuff just saved my t45 that would resist coming out of 5th and wouldn't go into 1st at a stop,has no issues now..did a lot of re search on this and it's very popular in the t45 tranny's...
