hey guys my 87 ford mustang gt oil drain plug keeps leaking any suggestions??

I have the same issue. Purchased new plug and still leaks. Very slow but leaks

OOPS sounds like the retainer is messed up. Hope not. Does the plug tighten up ok. If yes use a copper gasket under the nut. And whatever you do do not strip it out or break the inside retainer. They have a nasty habit of cracking then you are screwed!!

idk it tightens up pretty good i know it has a oversize bolt i did put a plastic washer on it it leaks a little. one bad thing is the motor in it is a 1972 ford 302 block so the oil dip stick goes thru timing chain cover not the block it has a foxbody oil pan .
