I'm doing a trick flow top end kit on my car. When I pulled out my cam I noticed that the front cam bearing was chipped in a couple of spots. The car ran good oil pressure when cold was 55-50 psi and when hot was 45-50 psi. I want to know if I could replace the cam bearings without disassembling the short block a part?

if the motors is in the car, no u can not install cam bearings, u have to line up the oil journals to cam bearing oil journal holes. this is supposed to be done with the crank out ori, but the pan has to off in order to even see thos oil holes regardless even if crank is in.

I have the motor out. And I was looking for a machine shop that would replace the cam bearings without disassembling the short block. I'm in San Leandro
