Picked up a 95 GT recently that had sat dormant for eight years, I changed fluids, filters and added injector cleaner and half a bottle of mystery oil in the tank with a half tank of 91 and half in the crankcase (injector lube/upper cylinder help at first start up) swapped all filters and oil again after running it. The car is mostly stock except for CAI and conversion from auto to TKO 500 with a complete swap kit (don't know who's but it did include a harness and computer.) it runs fine and idles fine but hesitates with a sudden rev at idle and bogs under hard throttle no sputters, back fires or miss, timing was at 14 deg so set it back at 10deg. I did find the the TPS is out of spec and has a dead spot so I will change it. It has good voltage 13.7-14.2v at the battery and the alternator. It has good steady vacuum at 18 to 19" egr is ok. Fuel pressure is a constant 37 psi (stock reg) the pump is noisy and is original (new one incoming) the only thing I haven't changed yet is plugs and wires and will install my MSD 6A (it already has a blaster coil and billet MSD Dist.) it passed smog easily with no issues. I spoke with "Tim-Mustangguy" and he agreed that I was heading in the right direction but I wondered if anyone else had similar issues. I did find one post about hesitation where they found a blown egr gasket (cheap and easy) so I'll check that too. Am I missing any info, feel free to ask!

On its second filter now, waiting on the new pump, hopefully the sock didn't disintegrate.

Bad Gas or lack enough good gas. This is the second time I've dealt with crap fuel and these symptoms. Tank full of 76, 91 octane and it perked right up and runs strong. Still going to do all the other tune up stuff for piece of mind. Thanks for the suggestions.
