Hey guys so I'm having a issue with some slicks I narrowed from a buddie they are Hoosier QuickTime pros dot 28/11.5.15 I no I no there big tires for my car but I really want to try it.
Car has 4 cyclinder springs in front 90/10 lakewoods
Rear is cut coil with strange 10 way shocks
Baseline uppers and baseline lowers adjustable
I was having width and height issues I got the width fixed I out a 1/2 spacer and no rubs from the inside just the tire is so tall it rides on the rear fender what can I do to fix this

tires are just to big if not tubbed. they will rub on the outer sidewall like that when going over bumps/driveways. and be careful in the rear of the wheel well right in the middle, there is that sheet metal that will rub on the tires when they expand

I never tried a 28x11.5, but have done 28x10.5 with a 10" rim with 6.5" backspacing and 1/4" spacer. Have you tried a 1/4" spacer? How much did you cut off the springs? I had a customer to get a 29.5x10.5 slick to fit but he had to cut up the wheel well.

My DRs (315/60R15 / 30X13.5R15) rubbed going in and out of driveways or just about any other little bump when I first put them on, I bought these spacers and wound them into my rear coils, I now only get a little bit of rubbing if I go in a driveway that give me a lot of "suspension twist".

Pick to show clearance with spacers:

You don't need to cut the rear springs if you are using baseline relocating uppers, the point of cutting the rear springs is to get a better center of gravity, which is the point of having relocating uppers.
