So I just notice that in 3rd gear my tranny grinds but if I keep the clutch in for a few extra seconds it won't grind. Is my clutch gone or are the 3rd gear synchros going bad?

Yup sounds like bad synchro's, 2nd&3rd are usually the first to go bad.

Get yours rebuilt. Saves you the trouble of buying someone else's bad tranny.
