Right now I have a Bbk x-pipe, shorty headers, and magma flow mufflers on my 93 coupe, it's a little to quiet for me, and I'm looking to upgrade my mufflers.
Has anyone tried the *summit racing mufflers 40series clone*? How does it sound, or what do you guys recommend?
Mike

Spintechs FTMFW.... good quality muffler, each one is HAND MADE, and have a very unique chambered sound.

Racebullets will be cheap and get you what you want 40$ a piece..I run ultraflows but have more air coming through them..I'm sure they would be quiet on a stock motor

I have these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pye-mvr200s
you could also try the dynomax race bullet mufflers, I would stay away from lm1 as they have no tone, lm2 are considerable but pricey.

bullets are the best. macs dont sound to bad either, i had them on mine with a h pipe
but the summit mufflers do sound damn good for how cheap they are, better than flows.
vid of my truck with the summit mufflers, not a 302 but you can kinda get the idea..

man those mufflers your giving up are really badass mufflers fyi. But i understand you want louder and i agree ive had those before and they just dont give you the nasty sound. If i was to recommend something it would be a mac flowpath, flow really good and sound good at idle, wot, rev etc. Their not chambered either.

I like borla proxs they are quiet but mean sound and very good flow over many others, highest flowing quietest mufflers
For louder I'd go spintech hands down good flowing mufflers
