I been having issues with my starter and I finally decided to pull It today. I bought It used of a member here at the same time i had a new flexplate installed, it popped right off and there was One wire connected and another not connected both are from the same harness. The thick One thats probably the 12+volt Was connected the other skinnier One was just hanging. Should both be on there? [ 2013-04-18, 03:37 PM: Message edited by: lxhatch5.0 ]

The smaller cable should be ur ground cable, find somewhere metal to connect it to, doesnt matter where as long it has a secure ground connection.

I connected the ground and slapped the starter back in there real tight, it cranks and starts right up.
But i still have this battery drain that i cant seem to track down. If i leave the battery posts connected it will drain my battery. Ill take a pic of the solenoid to see if theres anything there wrongly connected.
