happening for a few days now....recent changes I made cobra ecu,cobra maf cobra upper lower intake
after it puffs smoke it smells really rich like sweet unburnt gasoline,im guessing since I didn't use the 5 speed o2 sensor harness that my ecu might have took a dump car has sporatic idle will only idle strong once ina while since the ecu swap has afr heads also 165's you guys have any similar issues oh also 24lb injectors and a 255 ghp pump should I just slap my auto ecu back in with the after market maf? what should I check I know it cant be a head gasket runs at 165 degrees I have a 160 thermo in it

which ecu did you put in? using a manual trans ecu with an automatic trans o2 harness will fry the computer..

I ran a A9L with an auto 02 harness and never had an issue. White smoke is generally associated with coolant and not fuel.

sounds like maybe youre getting water into the cylinders..maybe lower intake isnt sealed properly

cobra ecu
also checks the oil no problem there looked in the radiator looks like mud is in the water was told if the ecu frys that it could cuase a rich condition...that would tell the ecu to dump fuel on start up

Constantly running in open loop would too. Any codes?

no access to a reader but before the swap I didn't have this issue im gunna swap the ecu and mafs back and see if it stops ill let u guys know

just go back to a stock ecu maf and injectors

switched back to stock ecu runs great!
