What are the combustion chamber size for the heads? Even though the heads can accept to 600 lift and the cam is 542 lift it should work fine but check for piston to valve clearance to make sure your valves arent hitting the piston.
I had some ptv issues with an f-cam and custom aluminum heads.
also keep in mind there are alot of better custom cams out there than the X.

its hard to say what type of issues you could potenially run into because dpending on what type of valve reliefs the pistons have, combined with the 54cc heads I cant say for sure but definitely check for ptv clearance when you go to assemble.
