Ok i have a 88 built notch and its been sitting for 2 months because there was a problem with the motor. i jus fixed it 2 days ago so i start the car up and the voltage is low i drive to the store and try to start it the battery is dead. i had the alternator check its good battery replaced and the car is still dying. any idea?

Check your cables and of they are tight check for corrosion.
I had the same problem 2 weeks ago. Car wouldn't start turned out to be the positive cable to the starter solenoid finally gave in to corrosion.

Ok ima check my cables tomorrow the starter cable will kill it tho?

Oh so the car runs? I thought you had a no start issue. Is your idle to low? Load of the cam maybe? I'm not a carb guy so can't speak on it to much. But just make sure your cables are tight alternator cables tight and clean (shut up) and get back to me

It runs i jus goes dead like my battery isnt charging. once i turn the car off the battery is dead but if i jump the car it starts
