worn shock mount is a broad term. but the pull sounds like its from whats called a tire pull. basically its a defect in the tire that causes more or less resistance when it rolls down the road therefore causing a pull

yea its not too common maybe one in a hundred tires will exibit this condition but it cant be ballenced out or fixed. i usually compensate for it by rotating the tire that has the pull to the opposite corner preferably in the rear.

also fox mustangs dont have alot of caster built into their suspension with factory allignment. its nice to allign them with a bit more caster than normal and 1/4 inch toe in and they usually exibit better highway speed stability. if your camber is too much too the car will want to tram line and follow any crack in the road really bad so be carefull there as well.

If your car is lowers than you need caster camber plates, that should replace your strut mount, the plates allow for more angle adjustment on the alignment

Tie rod end are a very common wear and tear item on all cars, if their is to much excessive play the tire will move quite a bit as it rolls down the road , replacing them will stiffn up your steering

As far as a tire pull, if their is already a bad tread wear that can cause it, or if you have mixed tires as far as tread design or speed ratings, that will also cause a pull,

Rotate the two front tires switch the left to the right and see if it pulls the opposite way, that will let you know its the tires causeing the pull,

And last check to make sure their rotating the right way, almost all performance tires are directional
