Ok my eddie heads use to have o"rings in them i had a machine shop take them out an he jus left them out didnt weld anything back in the o"ring area but he got me some cometic gaskets to make up for the o"ring part that they were in.my question now is would that make me sputter like my car is doing now?because im thinking air wants to get out now of the part on the heads were the o"rings were.thats what im thinking right now.jus asking if that would be possible.thnx ahead of time for answers an dealing with my questions but i jus wanted to bring that out of the closet.

Im not positive but i think you have to surface the reciever groove out of the head,not just remove the wire.That could be causing your issue.Do a compression test,that will tell you.
