I installed a D&D K Member, Tubular A Arms and Coil Overs up front. I'd never want to go back to a stock setup again. Between those parts I saved 70+lbs off of the car, and have a lot of room to work on anything easily now. No more cramped space trying to put in the starter, exhaust, headers etc etc.
Some companies do make tubular control arms and k members that allow you to use stock type suspension, but if you're planning on going tubular you'd be better off just setting up coil overs.

I'm assuming this is on the '96 GT in your sig? If you have the money get the tubular front suspension, just like FivePTslow said, do it all, A-arms, K-member, and coilover.
If you wanted to save some money I'd put the stock K-member back in, it's not that bad. You may want a friend under there to give you a hand with the K.

Yes, your stock K-member should clear the exhaust with no problem.

You could leave the rear the way it is or go with coilover and tubular control arms.

i would at least change the k member if you plan on doing it eventually and are taking the stock one off anyways. all of the stock components will bolt to it. the rear is easier imo, wouldnt suggest rear coilovers if you daily drive it, but if you do, get the upgraded mounting brackets for them

i personally like AJE's new design on the k member, but i have the older version and its taken a beating for the last 3 years with no issues. i think they are one of the lightest k members too. a lot of options for the rear depending on what you use the car for..whats the current set up?

i would just up grade the shocks all around and eventually do the front coilover setup. best rear setup is MM hd lower control arms, trq arm, and panhard bar
