My buddy has a c6 in an old bronco that is shifting really hard. It doesn't seem as if gears are staying engaged when they shouldn't be or anything. The vacuum modulator is new and is confirmed to be working correctly after test driving with a vacuum pump spliced in. I've also smoke tested for a vacuum leak to the modulator. I'm wondering if anyone has touched that adjustment screw and what precautions I should take before adjusting it.
