What can i do to make my hatch easyer to shut and not rattle? really anoying!!

Or you could buy an actual striker and be done with it.

i tried the electrical tape but i still have to slam it i guess i got to get the striker

I had the same problem put a thin sheet of cardboard for thickness wrapped it around the latch then wrapped this with duck tape to finish off works like a charm.
