So my buddy bought a 00 gt an the air bag deployed so it has the air bag light on an the abs light on if he changes the steering wheel with an new air bag will the problem solve the air bag light
Any info would help he's really cracking his head with these issues

Need to change drivers side and passenger side airbags along with module.Most of the time the module needs to be changed and generally the airbag fuse will blow as well.
Be sure to inspect crash sensors to insure there is no damage. The module is located behind the radio on the transmission tunnel.
