I've read many different threads about using the Vortech FMU. I did not find a definite answer so I went ahead and installed it. I have a 255lph pump, T-Rex Pump, and 42lb injectors.
With the above combo, IS the FMU needed or can I take it out?

Woah! Did Kurgans tune have the FMU considered??? You need to get that sorted out before you drive the car. If it did make sure you find out which ring is being run (4:1 I;m guessing). With 42s I highly doubt there is a FMU considered in the tune. [ December 28, 2011, 08:36 PM: Message edited by: copcar ]

I'll send him an email, hopefully he remembers.

Just to update, kurgan replied "No fmu... Straight injector & MAF"
Which is cool, one less piece of clutter under the hood.
