I just wanted to know what temp thermostat everybody was running. My car is running rich and i want to try to get it warmer since the temp never gets past the second bar on the stock guage.Stock cooling system 90 mustang 306 with Holley System Max HCI. Thanks before hand for the input.

I would also use a 180, and I wouldnt trust that factory gauge. Either get an aftermarket, or hit it with a temp gauge.

Yeah i dont trust the factory guage either but i know the car is running cold. I have bbk after market cats and until the car gets warm they wont burn shit so you can smell the fuel too. So im just trying to get it up to normal operating without the chance of overheating.

The thermostat won't control the maximum temperature or prevent overheating, but you should be fine with any 180deg thermostat, 195 would be better for smog test though.
