I don't work on mod motors I haven't taken the time nor care to work with them so my knowledge is limited.
I recommend everyone to aed as I did yesterday via pm
Good luck

A good healthy power adder and all supporting mods, but longevity will be its down fall and i dont see it be done for less than 10k

I know that I gotta force somethin down its throat......so im leanin against the squeeze, so lemme say definate forced induction......now, s/c roots style, or centrifugal.....or turbo, I hear turbo technology is comming of age

Here's the reality dan is that you claim you want it to be a "daily driver" so reliability us an issue and you would like it to be "street legal". With that said, in theory, you would have to be willing to shell out the coin for a solid bottom end and a good prep., the $5k-$7k for a power adder. The few grand on supporting mods, plus the roughly $600 on the good safe tune. All this in a real world numbers situation should net you around 420 hp/tq. Maybe a little less/more. Assuming you are buying these items new, I dont know, 12k plus.
On the other hand, find a used 4 valve termi in decent or rebuildable shape with the C head. Give it a good race prep and either keep the eaton if you can't get ahold of it maybe a used blower kit. Grab a set of 98 cobra cams. Threw cats maybe 450 give or take a few for probably a little cheaper completely streetable that will last you a while assuming you don't beat the hell out of it, with the potential to take it much further.

400rwhp can be done with a simple kenne-bell 1.7L intercooled setup with 7psi, and the stock bottom end of a stock pi motor will be plenty healthy with a safe tune at that power level.
brand new, those kits are about $6k for them with everything you'd want/need (fuel pump, injectors, tuner, tune, etc)

Is Nitrous an option? I don't know about mod motors but a stock 302 could handle 150hp shot with just a better fuel pump, colder spark plugs and 3-4 less timing.

Excellent no bullshit is exactly what I wanted so brand new out the box dd reliability without question is a little out of range I like the termy idea but whats the cost?

MMR 750 shortblock- $2800 Stock top end- free (since you already have it) Used blower- vortech/paxton/procharger $2250
Throw a bunch of boost at it to make up for you top end not flowing that great.. This is the cheapest way to make you power. Don't go spray. Nitrous isn't always there so you will feel as though your still slow all the time
