Hey guys I have an off o/r bassani x pipe and my stock smog pump tube didn't fit. So I was told to use an 3/4 heater hose tube, so I did so but some how some way I been through too hoses now. What could be my issue? Is there anything I could use that is stronger then regular heater hoses?

Thanks guys

You need high temp silicone hose. That is what Bassani includes with their kits. I believe its light blue with a pinkish inside layer.

+1 I've never had any problems either even on my current 5.0 the hose is actually directly touching my h pipe and it's holding up just fine. If yours is burning through maybe try bending it a little further away from the exhaust pipe
