If your car runs cool on the highway and hot in slow speed or traffic, it looks like you are not pushing enough air (convection).

Mark8 fan along with a solid control system should prevent those problems.

Dont you have GT40ps....

Didnt you have them pressure tested or magged and they came back ok after you fixed a blown headgasket or something awhile back???

And now your car acts like this?? Hmmmm

I dunno man. Look into it.

Did you put the headgaskets on correctly? Thermostat in correct orientation?

When you get on it and it gets hot that is typical of really hot exhaust escaping into the coolant or causing steam pockets either will get the car hot, quickly.

Take the care to one of your boys or someone that can check for exhaust in the radiator coolant.

Im bettin you are still having issues related to heads and or headgaskets....but it also sounds like an old water pump or even not spinnning CCW like it should on 86-93 mustangs.

.........when was the last time YOU built something with YOUR own hands?

I offer quality sidework at reasonable prices. PM ME

gt40p's yep!! now i dnt think the headgaskets!! i noticed the water pushes out to the overflow when the t-stat turns but it doesnt suck back in when it needs to!! makes me think the water pump isnt spinning ccw!!
