Don't waste your money throw in a 31 spline track lock from a F-150 or cobra rebuild the posi..restack the plates be done with it. I bought a cobra one on Ebay for 100.00. I ran hundreds of passes with it many in the high 10's low 11's. I know of 2 other cars that have ran 10's with the same set ups. One of them blew up a Eaton and broke his locker first.

This might be a dumb question but im throwing it out there. Can I rebiuld mine? its a Ford racing 28 spline. Can it be rebiult to a 31 spline?

no, it cant be built up to become a 31 spline but you can find a 31 spline carrier that will drop right in to your existing 8.8 housing. you can get them from ford explorers for one, im sure there are others.

the cross pin for a 31 spline is a larger diameter and will not fit the 28 spline's case differential body
