Ok I have a 302 boss block. Going twin turbo.here's the question. Does it really matter on the bore and stroke if I'm going forced induction? I was planning on going with a 331 stroker bored .30 over AFR heads 205's or bigger and twin turbos...or should I just leave it as a 302 205 heads twin turbos since its going to be forced induction? Is their going to be a big difference in hp/tq between the two?..should I just get it bored and stroked or will I just be waisting money?._let me know what you guys think.. my goal is to see 650+rwhp...I don't want to go to crazy with HP but maybe more in the feature...thanks in advanced

not a huge difference, but there is no replacement for displacement. i would do the 331, because the cost of internal parts is not going to be that much more and it would only be the additional cost of boring. If you havent bought the block yet, i would buy the 351 block and go big cubes like 385 or 408.

Is it just the block or the kit with the forged 302 rotating assembly that needs to be installed?
Either way the block needs finish machine work cause they are all rough machined from ford. I'd go 331 if its just the bare block since it will cost roughly the same for a 302 rotating assembly. Allot of people seem happy with the 331 stroker in apps simaler to what you are after.

I just have the bare block.the new one they came out with..I'm trying to avoid loosing money from one step to the other..if I'm not going to gain a lot HP just from boring and stroking the block ill save a couple hundred. The way I see it is," just boost more psi" instead of boring and stroking it. Or am I wrong? I know I will gain more HP with the 331 but its not somthing the boost cant do to gain extra HP..thanks

No one has made mention of this so I will. First of all you need to be running a zero balance crank with this application. Secondly, In terms of power production, I will save you the math lesson but the 331 will build much higher torque in the midrange over a similar 302 and do it in a much safer manner than running higher boost.
