my friend has his heads at the shop and the previous owner had them machined for an o-ring style gasket..he want to resurface them but the shop owner said it would take .20 to remove the ridge..im wondering how its gonna affect his ptv clearance.its a stock bottom end with edelbrock peformers tfs1 cam with 1.7's..the shop owner said they might not even need to be resurfaced and they still might seal but its up to you..opinions?
