1.jack up the car on jack stands as high as can go

2. remove the wheels

3. pop hood n disconnet neg battery terminal

4. loosen both bolts that hold the k member to engine mounts

5. pick a side to work on first

6. jack up the motor( some do it on the front of oil pan i like to use the bell housing, use a block of wood between either or)

7. if working on passenger side remove the starter (3 bolts)
if working on driver side disconnect steering thingy forgot what its call, but lock ur steering wheel in place, disconnect ur egr tube

8.remove bolts use freeze off on the bolts n becareful not to strip them
(driver side u many have to remove the oil dip stick) passenger side is easier if ur ac line are out of the way (or gone like mine are lol)

ford gaskets may be reused mine were n still have no problem putting them on should be straight forward from here enjoy!!!!
