hey ive been wondering which cam is best for a street car app and good lope while running gt40 intake and gt40 heads thanks

tfs1, 1.7rr, and 4 degrees retarded. Makes a nice setup.

Raises it up. The cam comes with 4 degrees of advance ground in, so with it retarded 4 degrees that would really be the true definition of straight up. Have ran it a few times like this. Old car went 13.0 at 106mph with shit stock e7 heads, tfs1 with 1.7rr, a performer rpm, longtubes, with all the other bolt ons. Car was 3450 with me in it. Last setup was gt40x heads, tfs1 with 1.7rr, gt40 intake and shorties with the usual bolt ons and went 12.5 with a 1.9 60ft. MPH has ranged from 113 to 109 with this setup depending on the day, aprox 3400lbs.

Its up to you. My Custom cam guy has always recommended the tfs1 cam retarded 4 degrees. Did you degree it or just put it dot to dot?
