I have a 90 lx n I was working on it last nite and noticed I have 2 salt/pepper connectors. Can some1 explain.

Again 1990 lx 50

The extension harness was for recall 91E19 to prevent an intermittent connection resulting in the check engine light coming on. Issued in 1992, Ford thought this was the potential reason for the infamous "idle surge".

Well I do have idle issues, n Da check end light is on. So the whole purpose is to just extend the harness or is there a pin/upgrade or change.

I just bought the car so I'm trying to sort out some bugs, but the harness threw me off.
