I just did a tune up on my stock 95 Mustang GT with new plugs (gapped at .054), new MSD cap and rotor, and new spark plug wires, and the car runs better but now it seems to have a surging idle. The car idles at right at 1000rpm but will start hunting for idle every few seconds and start idling a little rough and the voltage gauge and lights will fade in and out during this period, but it still idles between 800 and 1000rpm.
I was wondering what could be wrong and what things I should look at. The motor is all stock with the exception of a BBK intake and an after market throttle body that the previous owner put on. [ January 14, 2011, 10:06 PM: Message edited by: sj9ers ]

I have the same exact problem in my 95 Cobra. I believe it might be the fuseable link that is part of the alt harness.
