Wana lower my car wana knw witch is better to do?? Get some lowering springs or would i be good cuttin my stock ones? Ride difference?? If anyone cut the stock ones how u guys lik it... I hav bbk ones on my 89 nd dont lik how it feels goin over bumps its a lil hard.. Thanks for the help.
Oh crap also want to ask wats the biggest size throttle body i can run on a speed density witout having vacum problems

do NOT cut springs, get some good aftermarket springs, make sure you get progressive rate not specific rate, gives you a more comfortable ride on the street

Cutting springs will only give you a bouncy, uncomfortable ride

If you're trying to lower it 1/2", then cutting a half coil should not be a problem. Just remember that it may take a couple years before a new set of springs settle.
JFYI I did this on my stock Mach 1 springs to even the height on Notch.
Eibach Pro kit with Tokico 5 ways is what I had on my 98 Cobra. Had lots of compliments on how it felt. Even the Ford mechanic even commented that the ride quality was not that harsh for a lowered car.
If you get the Eibach Sportline then it's another inch lower.
My Pro kits eventually settled to what the Sportline springs look like when new.

Notch looks clean bro... But yea i was thinkin maybe 2" all around or 1 1-2 front 2 in the rear..car has kyb gas shocks and struts. Car rides smooth as hell but it loks hi as crap since it has honeycombs on 245 60 15 al around stock height. Anybody else hav pics of there car wit lowerin springs??

If you want to go that low, I would upgrade to Bilsteins struts and shocks from MM, they are custom valved, and dont be scared of specific rate springs, I run 700lb rate in front and 300lb in the rear and love it.

This is ma 97 cobra on Eibach sportlines, not to bad but the ride quality is a lil on the bad side. U get use to it tho I don't notice it much until I find those bad dips on the street, then it feels like shit

Yea they give u a pritty nice drop and are not too expensive, I would say go for it. It's gunn set of your stance fur shur. What kinda rims u got? Size and style?
