Hey I just need to how would you stop the motor from rotating FYI changing timming chain cover gasket & motor is in the car thanks....

put it in 5th..lol...i use an impact gun to get the bolt off then a installer to put the balancer back on..dont use the bolt [Wink]

Ha so jae you didnt use the rental tool at kargens to remove the harm because I got the crank bolt off

put it in 5th as mentioned. i had to use the pulley puller to take it off.

If it gets too hard to pull off to the point where you are rotating the engine, take a torch to the crank snout to heat the metal and it will come off pretty easy

Got it off and replaced the gasket all good now bit off work ha here's a pic don't mind the cardboard and napkin ha
