My brother in laws 91 GT makes a high pitched and very loud squeal when you cold start it. If your light on the gas it will get louder but if you give it a lot of gas it doesn't make a sound. It's an automatic car and will make the noise in neutral and in gear while at idle. Before I sold the car to him years ago it started doing it. He said it's been getting worse over the years he's owned it. The car runs fine otherwise and doesnt do it after the car has been running a while. It's not belt related.

Have any of you run accross this problem? I'm thinking vacuum leak. Is there some kind of secondary air system on these cars to warm up the cats?
