im having trouble removing the bolt from the top of the starter my hand wont fit and i cant unbolt it how did you guys do it
its on my 86

Use every 3/8" extension you can find and go at it from in front of the motor mount.

as already mentioned, all u need is a collection of extensions and swivels to get to the top bolt. ull literally have a 2.5foot extension from the front going to that top bolt.

Lots of extensions and flex bits Insert from the front of the vehicle with it jacked up. Keep trying different length extensions and flex bits 'til you can get it on there.
