Depends on what parts you are using and what you have to start with.

I have seen rebuilt 306s on here for $600 bucks and then seen them go for $2,000.

.........when was the last time YOU built something with YOUR own hands?

I offer quality sidework at reasonable prices. PM ME

It all depends on how worn your parts are if your just rebuilding. If your just punching out the motor .030 over, replacing the pistons new, rebushing the rods, turning the crank, along with new rings and bearing...you can get away with approx $350 if you build it yourself.

if you just need a motor to get around' I aways had luck going to the junk yard on 1/2 off day and find a 89 lincoin lsc engine with not to high mileage. These are gold in my eyes due to they are H.O. engines paired with a automatic and a EcU with a rev limit set at 4500rpms.
